For Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge, I would like to introduce you some of light fixtures during my travel in Vietnam

Boat trip to Canh Dong Bat Tan

Review of the Endless Field tourist area, in Moc Hoa, near Tan Lap Floating Village. Here you have to walk hard to get to the tourist area, the boat ride time from the country to the tourist area is about 30 minutes. A unique feature of this tourist area is taking a boat to explore the nature of this place in the early morning. Water lilies are available all year round but are most abundant in October and November every year. The restaurant in the tourist area has many delicious, rustic dishes but the cooking is very good. This place is essentially a medicinal herb conservation area, formed over 40 years. Currently, this place is a factory, producing many spices. The bedrooms here are just basic, and there is a lot of excitement in the evenings, so sleeping here is not recommended. The forest bike tour is also quite fun, cycling about 3 km, and has power in the natural rainwater ditch.

Only more than 2 months later are the Tet holidays in Vietnam. That period the local people normally will renovate their home and decorate with new flowers wishing for the new prosperity year. That is the reason why some vegetable village plan flowers for that season, and off course that is the great season for photography at the flower farm.

Nice place in Tan Phu, 3 hours of driving from Ho Chi Minh City. This place is quite peaceful and quiet, surrounding by a large lake.

Seasonal rhythm

Every year before the Tet Holidays around 2-3 months, that is the period of planting flower for Tet. This seasonal work needs a lot of labors working in the fields. You can easily see people preparing for this crop in the early morning or late afternoon especially the period of planting and selling.

When you visit Chau Doc and have free time in early morning or afternoon, I suggest you visit the Con Tien Bridge to enjoy the landscape of floating fish farm. Both morning and afternoon this place is nice and convenient to come by car or bus.

This place also a nice place for local people to enjoy the beauty of their hometown after a working day, you can easily see them relax few minutes on the bridge before going home.

Cow racing in Mekong Delta 2023

One of the best festivals in Mekong Delta especially the area of An Giang is the Cow Racing festival. To celebrate for the new rice crop, the local Khmer minority people often organize this festival, it is not fixed date every year, but mostly in weekend and around October.
